Some days ago wrote to me Kendra Thornton, a travel expert who has been featured on television shows like Tyra Banks and Nate Berkus. She told me that she loves my individual sense of style and would like to invite me to participate in the ‘Kendra’s Night Out’ Challenge!
She is heading to Orlando, Florida in a few weeks with her family. She is a mother to three wonderful children and she in need of some trendy fashion guidance! She want to look fashionable yet functional with a unique twist and she invited me to help her put together a wardrobe that will complement her travel plans.
She need a chic ensemble for both day and evening looks.
Family trips to Orlando are always fun, and Kendra is looking forward to spending a few weeks with them. The city is so nice because it has plenty of family-friendly options. Those with young children will especially appreciate the amenities for parents that are available in many venues around the area. She is looking forward to spending an evening with her family at Downtown Disney. They’ll have dinner together and a lot of laughs!
They’ll be snapping photos of their good time, so she want to make sure she look her best and she ask to me to help her come up with a great outfit to wear on this family night out.
For some inspiration, I asked her to have a look at the restaurant where they plan to eat.
They have plan to eat at House of Blues, a restaurant inside Downtown Disney well known for good music and great barbecue. The restaurant will be plenty noisy and full of excitement. While they enjoy their meal, they’ll be treated to a world-class show as well.
Kendra will have a great time with her husband and she is sure her kids will have a blast!
In keeping with its worldwide reputation as a vacationer’s paradise, the city of Orlando features a laidback style and atmosphere. This family-friendly town has plenty to do and enjoy. Kendra and family want to explore local parks, play some mini golf and hopefully catch a fantastic family shows, the excitement and fun just don’t stop. Whatever activities Kendra and family enjoy during this coming trip, Kendra know she’ll have even more fun when she is dressed in cute, trendy fashions.
I went to Orlando in Downtown Disney with my family when I was a child and I remember I had a lot of fun there and that I needed confortable clothes.
I went in Orlando in June and it was very hot (about 40°C) and rainy. I’ve asked to my readres how is the weather in Orlando in March and they told me it will probably be around 70º and 85º F (20º-28º C).
Also, it`s kind of windy, cloudy, sunny and rainy depending on which days she is going to be there.
In according with my readers, I would suggest her light sweaters, a white/beige top for the day and a black long sleeve top with lace for the night, a trench coat (they are always cool), tennis shoes for everyone and comfortable waterproof boots (I am not a fan of rain boots but they can serve a purpose I guess if she likes them), 2 pairs of pants (khaki for the day and black for the evening), a big bag, a camera, ad umbrella (if it’s rainy), a foulard for the windy, a hat and sunglasses for the sun. For the make up, I recommend her to use a dark eye shadow and pink lipgloss.
As a result, I prepare for Kendra this special travel pack.

Lei fra un paio di settimane andrà ad Orlando, in Florida, con la sua famiglia. Lei è una madre di tre figli meravigliosi ed ha bisogno di consigli su cosa indossare! I viaggi di famiglia a Orlando sono sempre divertenti e Kendra non vede l’ora di trascorrere un paio di settimane con loro. La città è così bella perché ha un sacco di opzioni per famiglie. Quelle con bambini apprezzeranno soprattutto i servizi per i genitori che sono disponibili in molti luoghi intorno alla zona. Lei è impaziente di trascorrere una serata con la sua famiglia a Downtown Disney. Ceneranno insieme e si divertiranno molto.
Scatteranno molte foto, così lei vuole assicurarsi di vestire al meglio e ha chiesto a me di aiutarla a scegliere un bel completo da mettere in valigia.
Per qualche ispirazione , le ho chiesto di indicarmi in quale ristorante ceneranno.
Hanno intenzione di mangiare all’ House of Blues , un ristorante all’interno Downtown Disney ben noto per la buona musica e ottimo barbecue. Il ristorante sarà molto “incasinato” e pieno di emozioni. Mentre si godranno la loro cena, assisteranno anche ad uno spettacolo di livello mondiale.
Kendra trascorrerà molto tempo con il marito e lei è sicura che i suoi figli si divertiranno un mondo!
In linea con la sua reputazione di tutto il mondo come il paradiso dei turisti , la città di Orlando offre uno stile e un’atmosfera rilassata. Questa città ideale per le famiglie ha molto da fare e da godere. Kendra e la famiglia vogliono esplorare i parchi locali, giocare a mini golf e, auspicabilmente, guardare un fantastico show di famiglia, l’ emozione e il divertimento proprio non si fermano. Qualsiasi attività Kendra e la famiglia decideranno di fare durante il prossimo viaggio , Kendra si sentirà più a suo agio se vestita bene ed alla moda.
Io sono stata a Orlando in Downtown Disney con la mia famiglia quando ero bambina e mi ricordo che mi ero divertita molto e che avevo bisogno di abiti comodi.

In accordo con i miei lettori, vorrei suggerire a Kendra delle magliette leggere, un top bianco/beige per il giorno e un top nero a manica lunga con pizzo per la notte, un trench (sono sempre freschi e riparano dalla pioggia), scarpe da tennis per tutti e confortevoli stivali impermeabili da pioggia (io non sono un fan di stivali da pioggia ma possono servire), 2 paia di pantaloni (kaki per il giorno e nero per la sera), una borsa grande, una macchina fotografica, ed un ombrello (se piove), un foulard per il vento, un cappello e occhiali da sole per il sole. Per il make up, le ho consigliato di utilizzare un ombretto scuro e lipgloss rosa.
Come risultato , ho preparato per Kendra questo pacchetto di viaggio speciale .
